IRNA chief: Positive effects of President's visits quite perceptible
Tehran, Oct 20, IRNA – IRNA Managing Director Aliakbar Javanfekr, in a meeting with students of Marvi Seminary here on Tuesday, said that the Islamic revolution had a great goal and that was to establish an Islamic model society for presenting to humanity.
Javanfekr, who is also President Ahmadinejad's press adviser, noted that nowadays all people in the world are looking at Iran and are waiting to see the Islamic model society .
Javanfekr said that the hegemonic system, with different plots, including imposed sanctions, is trying to create obstacles on the way of Iranians' goals and they aim to prevent creation of Islamic model society.
Referring to President Ahmadinejad's trip to New York, Javanfekr said that it was an opportunity to use logic power in a country where, unfortunately, the Zionist lobby has deprived nation from knowing realities and truth.
'An important point in this trip was meetings of 17 presidents and prime ministers with President Ahmadinejad and his speech in the UN General Assembly turned out to be an important world subject.'
He said that September 11 is a world issue, because the Americans and hegemonic powers invaded Iraq and Afghanistan and committed crimes with this pretext.
Concerning President Ahmadinejad's visit to Lebanon, IRNA chief said that the visit took place in a very sensitive situation of the region and the world arrogance was trying hard to create a situation for the Zionist regime to continue its life.
Referring to the glorious welcome of Lebanese people for Ahmadinejad, Javanfekr said the welcome indicates ties between Iranians and Lebanese, especially the Shia Muslims from south of Lebanon are very deep.
He also referred to the Christians and Sunni leaders welcome to President Ahmadinejad and said it shows their good and meaningful relations with Islamic Republic of Iran.
Javanfekr continued that Iran’s former president had also visited Lebanon, but he never went to the south, while President Ahmadinejad paid a visit to that dangerous area and his presence in south and close to the occupied Palestine territory has strengthened morale and hope for the resistance movememt.
He added that nowadays the Islamic Iran has an effective role in the world and now we can witness the positive effects of these visits, because after these visits, Group 5+1 proposed beginning of negotiations with Iran./end
