ANNIVERSARY OF PERMANENT PARLIAMENT APPROACHING
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On October 20, a 20th anniversary of establishing of parliament with permanent operation will be marked in Mongolia.
This decision was issued by parliament in its 47th resolution July 9 this year. The anniversary organization committee was set up accordingly, headed by G.Batkhuu, a vice Speaker of parliament.
On Tuesday, a theory-and-practice meeting ran in the "B" hall of the Government house themed "Formation and development of Mongolia's permanent operation parliament". Reports have been given by vice Speakers of parliament N.Enkhbold and G.Batkhuu, R.Gonchigdorj MP, secretary-general of parliament office Ts.Sharavdorj, director of the law research center
under the Institute of philosophy, sociology and jurisprudence of Mongolia's Academy of Sciences B.Chimid.
Other celebration actions are expected October 20 such as honorary parliament session, openings of the E-archive, museum of parliament history and photo exhibition. The MPs and guests will lay wreaths to the monument of the State Seal and pay tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan.
