Latest situation of 2 German detainees in Iran
Tehran, Oct 19, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Tuesday that legal process was underway for the two German nationals detained in Iran.
The two have violated national laws as they had traveled to Iran with tourist visas but were engaged in journalistic job, Mehmanparast told reporters at his weekly press conference.
'The case is being examined by Judiciary officials and under legal process,' said the spokesman.
He added that consular access has also been given to the two German detainees./end
