Russian, Italian defense officials to discuss defense cooperation
MOSCOW, October 19 (Itar-Tass) - Cooperation in the military sphere
and in defense-related technologies will be the highlight of talks that
Russia's First Deputy Minister of Defense, Vladimir Popovkin, is due to
hold Tuesday with the Italian counterpart, Guido Crosetto, who arrived on a two-day visit in Russia Monday.
"The two officials will look at the current status of and prospects
for Russian-Italian cooperation in the sphere of defense," a spokesman for the Defense Ministry's mass media department told Itar-Tass.
"On the Russian side, top executives of leading defense manufacturing companies and design bureaus will take part in the talks," he said.
