KUWAIT'S FM: TURKEY'S ROLE IMPORTANT IN MID-EAST PEACE PROCESS

KUWAIT (A.A) - 18.10.2010 - Kuwait's Deputy Premier & Foreign Minister Muhammad Al-Sabah said Sunday that Turkey had an important role in advancing the peace process in the Middle East.
Speaking after the high-level strategic dialogue meeting between Turkey and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Sunday, Al-Sabah said that they discussed the strategic relations between Turkey and GCC, and decided to set up a working plan and groups, and they also took up regional issues.  
Al-Sabah said that Turkey undertook an important role in advancing the Mid-East peace process against the attitude of Israel.
As GCC countries, we showed one more time that we support the wise attitudes of Turkey, said Al-Sabah.
Turkey was an important country not only for Gulf countries but also for all Arabs, Al-Sabah said.
He said that Turkey was an ally and it played a positive role in the region.
