Egypt calls for stronger trade ties with Iran
BEIRUT, Oct. 18 (MNA) – The director of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Babak Afqahi, met the head of the Federation of Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, Ahmed al-Wakil, in Beirut.
Arabic countries have been showing a growing interest to enhance trade ties with Iran,Afqahi said.
He added that Iran and Egypt are two large Islamic countries which can meet a great amount of each other’s demands.
In addition, Iran can be a gateway for Egypt to enter Central Asia, and Egypt can be a path for Iran to open inroads to Africa and Arab states.
Al-Wakil said Egyptian people and businessmen like Iranians a lot and are eager to do business with them.
