Shiraz to host 3rd Intl. Nano Technology, Science Conference
Tehran, Oct 18, IRNA – The Third International Nano Technology and Science Conference will be held at Shiraz University from November 9-11.
Public Relations of Shiraz University said scientists from 15 countries will attend the gathering, that will focus on nano structures, nano composite, nano electronics and mechanics, nano medicine, nano sensors, nano photonic, nano calculations, nano biotechnology, nano related economic subjects and nano green technology.
Head of the Nano Technology Research Center of Shiraz University and Secretary of the Third International Nano Technology and Sciences Conference Mohammad-Hossein Sheikhi said 12,000 articles had been sent to the secretariat of the conference by Iranian and foreign scientists, out of which 650 have been selected for presentation.
He said researchers and scientists from 15 countries, including Germany, the UK, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, Austria, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Romania, Italy, India, Kazakhstan and Pakistan have voiced readiness to attend the meeting.
Noting that the conference will be one of the biggest of its kind in the Middle East, Sheikhi said 10 distinguished nano scientists from Germany, Italy, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan, Brazil and Romania will address the confab./end
