Lebanese professor hails regional importance of Ahmadinejad's Beirut visit
Beirut, Oct 18, IRNA – Lebanon University professor Sheikh Sadeq Nabolsi says the Iranian president's visit to Lebanon was in response to the US security threats to the country, triggering a single regional movement beginning from Iran to Lebanon.
Nabolsi told IRNA that undoubtedly, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Lebanon gave a crushing response to the US and the Zionist regime.
He said the president's visit also was in response to security and political threats posed to Lebanon and the region.
He added that the visit will give an impetus to the Lebanese people's resistance and national unity and thwarted possible threats./end
