Yemen unveils plans to promote tourism in Europe
SANA'A, Aug 02 (Saba) - The ministry of Tourism has unveiled plans to promote Yemen tourism in Europe through holding promotionalactivities in Britain, Italy, Germany and France, the stat-run 26sep.net has said.
The Tourism Promotion Council, in collaboration with the Public Relations directors of tourist companies in these countries, will hold conferences and symposiums that will introduce European people to tourism products in Yemen.
The promotional campaigns will aim to rehabilitate Yemen's image abroad, after some countries have recently started to warn their citizens from traveling intoYemen.
Earlier, Yemen released tourism promotion commercials on the Alarabia andAljazeera TV Channels.
Yemen also plans to release such advertisements on the US CNN and UK BBC channels, because It wants to intensify its tourist promotion campaigns to attract many visitorsto its lands.
