MONGOLIA AND FRANCE TO COOPERATE IN EMERGENCY SECTOR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place Friday to establish a cooperation memorandum between the Mongolia's National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Authority of Civil Safety of the Republic of France. The memorandum has been signed by a senior commissioner Ts.Amgalanbayar, head of the NEMA and Mr. Jean Paul Dumont, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France.
The major purposes of the memorandum are to support bilateral close and productive collaboration in emergency sector, to exchange superior experiences in a management of regulating natural and technical disasters, to strengthen professional skills of emergency officials and to render methodological assistance.
Apart of the cooperation memorandum, the sides have signed a memorandum on share information about methods of rescue operations, fighting with fires and norms of necessary equipment.
