Central Election Commission conducts its session
Baku, October 16 (AzerTAc). The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan conducted on Friday its regular session headed by Mr. Mazahir Panahov.
The CEC discussed providing candidates with additional opportunities for campaigning.
The CEC made a decision to allocate four-minute free airtime to each candidate on NaxTV for the constituencies in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and on Public TV for other 118 constituencies in order to organize roundtable meetings among registered candidates. Those who use their free airtime will get an opportunity the same day to use ad space on Sharg Gapisi and Azerbaijan newspapers.
The session discussed current issues as well.
Representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission and journalists were present at the session.
