Azerbaijan ranks seventh at Sambo Championships in Tbilisi
Baku, October 16 (AzerTAc). The World Sambo junior and youth Championship in Tbilisi wrapped up with a triumph of Georgian athletes, who have grabbed 20 medals. Russian sambo fighters have come second.
Azerbaijan has taken a seventh in the total medal count. The Azerbaijan team secured one silver, and three bronze medals.
The Tbilisi World Sambo Championship has brought together over 500 athletes from 22 countries.
