S.BATBOLD MEETS GERMANY'S MINISTER OF TRANSPORT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold received Wednesday a delegation headed by Mr. Peter Ramsauer , the Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs of Germany.
"Mongolian government is to back the cooperation with Germany in the areas of railway, auto road and production processing," S.Batbold stressed at the beginning of the meeting.
The Premier has underlined that the two countries should intensify the cooperation in trade, economic and social sectors apart of the political ties, and develop the relations into a level of the comprehensive partnership. "We must forward our mutually beneficial cooperation by exploiting our advantages," Mr. Batbold has said adding that the visit of Germany's Minister will significantly contribute to it.
Mr. Batbold has mentioned that Mongolia sees the EU including Germany as a development model and has emphasized that Mongolia is making steps to introduce the European standards adjusting them to its features.
In response, Mr. Ramsauer has said he discussed with Mongolia's Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development a development of the collaboration in railway sector and expressed a willingness to attract the German investors to this sector. He has expressed a hope that the cooperation in auto road and air transportation may succeed.
Incxuded in the visiting group, a State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture has spoken about opportunities for the countries to introduce the latest technologies in agricultural sphere and to organize trainings here.
