that opened in Vladivostok on Wednesday.
The symposium involves scientists, businessmen and top officials of
the Asia Pacific Region, as well as of China, Japan, the U.S., Australia
and Canada. The symposium is timed to the 20th anniversary of the
establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Republic of
Korea. It is organised by Vladivostok State University of Economics and

such fields as agriculture, tourism, culture and education."
"Twenty years ago Russia and Korea took first steps towards restoring
relations. By taking into account the territorial location, previous

plays a special role," Gorchakov said.
According to professor of Vladivostok State University of Economics
and Service, Sergei Sevastyanov, cooperation between Primorsky Territory

investments in our infrastructure and the energy sector are being
considered," he noted.
One of the key tasks of the symposium, which will last till October
15, is to discuss such fields of cooperation as transport, energy,
