MPS WANT TO IMRPOVE FUEL AND ENERGY SECTORS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Parliamentarians A.Tleikhan, N.Batbayar, D.Gankhuyag and J.Batsuuri submitted Tuesday to the Speaker D.Demberel a draft parliamentary resolution on some measures for the fuel and energy sectors.
According to the MPs, the draft has reflected steps the government must take--to improve financial and economic capabilities of the fuel and energy sectors, to ensure reliable operations of these sectors, to provide rural areas with, to have prices energy reach their actual value.
In recent years, a financial situation of the energy sector has been worsening making it running big deficit. By 2008, for example, the deficit reached MNT 69.8 billion.
