US State Secretary to visit Kosovo Wednesday.

BELGRADE, October 13 (Itar-Tass) - To promote the normalization of
relations between Pristina and Belgrade and the integration of Kosovo into
Europe will be the main aims of a visit to the self-proclaimed Republic of
Kosovo by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The visit begins on
Wednesday.
According to the US Embassy announcement, while in Pristina, Secretary
Clinton will meet with current president Fatmir Sejdiu, Prime Minister
Hashim Taci, and Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni. The US Secretary of
State will also visit the Serb enclave of Gracanica for meetings with
representatives of the local population.
Within the scope of Tuesday's one-day trip to Serbia, Clinton met with
the country's leadership, reaffirming US support for Belgrade's policy
course towards joining the European Union and the need to resolve the
Kosovo problem through a dialogue.
