TurkPA calls Kyrgyz elections “democratic”
Baku, October 13 (AzerTAc). Parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan were transparent, democratic and free, announced observation mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkish Speaking countries (TurkPA) in a news conference in Bishkek, excluding “some technical shortages”.
The TurkPA officials said “equal conditions were provided for all candidates and voters not depending on their political orientation, language, religion and nationality”.
Parliamentarians from Turkic nations declared that they officially recognize the Kyrgyz elections.
The TurkPA international observation mission included MPs from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as officials of the organization`s secretariat.
They monitored the election process in Kyrgyzstan from October 6- 12.
