Common points of Iran, G5+1 proposals should be put on table - Iran
Iran suggested to Western states Tuesday to take into consideration all common points mentioned in the separate proposed packages of Iran and the 5+1 Group about Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told reporters that the suggestion was made to ease the process of discussing the contents of the proposed packages offered by Iran and the Group.
Speaking at his weekly press briefing, the spokesman said the next meeting between Iran and G5+1 should be held 'within a fixed framework with clear objectives and through mentioning all details.'
Mehmanparast reiterated that Iran's proposed package 'presented ways to solve international crises as well as existing problems.'
He stressed that the next round of talks with the Group 5+1 would be focused on the issue of nuclear fuel exchange.
Commenting on a joint war game carried out by China and Turkey, the spokesman said that the two were 'independent states with each enjoying good relations with Iran.' Although Iran has not taken part in the maneuver, it provided some help for China and Turkey, Mehmanparast hinted.
