Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first 9 months of 2010, Mongolia traded with 122 countries from all over the world, and total external trade turnover reached 4,273.9 mln.US dollars, of which exports made up 2,025.6 mln.US dollars and import made up 2,248.3 mln.US dollars.
External trade balance in the first 9 months of 2010 showed a deficit of 222.6 mln.US dollars increasing 32.1 mln.US dollars or 16.9 percent against the same period of 2009.
In the first 9 months of 2010, total external trade turnover increased by 1,495.8 mln.US dollars or 53.8 percent, of which exports up by 731.8 mln.US dollars or 56.6 percent, and imports up by 764.0 mln.US dollars or 51.5 percent,respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the first 9 months of 2010, mineral products, natural or cultured stones, precious metals, jewelry and textiles & textile articles accounted for 94.0 percent of the total export value amount.
