AZERBAIJAN`S ELECTORAL CODE AND LAW ON FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY MEETS INTERNATIONAL

Baku, 31 July,(AzerTAj)The Electoral Code of Azerbaijan and law on freedom of assembly meets international standards, visiting Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Heikki Talvitie said Wednesday.

He added “both laws provide favorable opportunities to hold democratic and transparent elections in the country”.

He also stressed the OSCE was ready to render any assistance to Azerbaijan on applying laws.
