JULY INFLATION RECORDED AT 1.37 PERCENT
Jakarta, Aug 1 (ANTARA) - The inflation rate in July 2008, fueled by price increases in all groups of goods and services such as education, recreation, sports and food groups, was recorded at 1.37 percent.
"This an annual cycle as previously predicted," Head of the Central Board of Statistics (BPS) Rusman Heriawan said here on Friday.
It is therefore clear that the calendar year inflation is recorded at 8.85 percent and year-on-year inflation rate at 11.9 percent, he said.
