STATE HEAD VISITS AVEDORE POWER STATION AND MILK FACTORY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The State Head of Mongolia has got acquainted with the Avedore power station located near Copenhagen during his official visit to Denmark.
The Avedore, which was put into use in 2002, consists of two power station units. The overall production capacity of the two Station units is 810 Megawatts of electricity and 900 Megawatts of heat. It provides 180 thousand families in Copenhagen with heading and 800 thousand families with electricity, besides, exports it to Sweden.
Then the President visited the “Arla” milk processing factory. It has 13 branches in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, exports products to 20 countries, and is one of the biggest employers in Denmark--13 employees.
A Minister and some specialists of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and also business delegates have shared views with the factory's authorities on structure of farming business and cooperative in diary foods sector, and discussed a matter on establishing ties with same factories.
