baku to host 2nd international jazz festival
Baku, October 11 (AzerTAc). The 2nd international jazz festival with support of Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and “Sweet Production” will take place in Baku capital from October 16-30.
Mat Bianko, Al di Miola, Keiko Matsui, Monti Alexander, Vijay Iyer Trio, Erik Vloeimaens, Diane Rives, “Jazzmor” and “Shakatak” groups will participate in the festival.
The opening ceremony will take place in the Heydar Aliyev Palace, on October 16. The jazzmen will perform in Muslim Magomayev State Philharmonic, Mugam Center, Russian State Dramatic Theater after Samad Vurgun, Baku Jazz Center and “World Fashion” club.
Young jazzman, winner of Montreux jazz festival Isfar Sarabski will represent Azerbaijan.
