Local company to invest US $ 4.170 million in KEPZ
DHAKA, Bangladesh, July 31 (BSS)- A Bangladeshi company named as M/s Votary Accessories Limited will invest 4.17 million to set up a garments accessories manufacturing industry in the KarnaphuliExport Processing Zone(KEPZ).
The industry will produce 9000 tonnes garments Accessories annually for exports which will create employment opportunity for114 Bangladeshi nationals, said a press release.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s Votary AccessoriesLimited in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka today.
Prasanta Bhushan Barua, member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA SM Al Mamun, Managing Director of M/s Votary Accessories Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Other officials from both sides were present onthe occasion.
