Azerbaijan proposing PC assembly in Cuba
Baku, October 11 (AzerTAc). Before signing a cooperation agreement on information technology and communications in Havana, Azerbaijan`s minister of communications and information technologies Ali Abbasov proposed assembling personal computers in Cuba.
Abbasov made the statement during a round of negotiations in Havana, Prensa Latina reported. Azeri businesspeople brought samples of PCs made in Azerbaijan, according to Abbasov.
Baku-based Ultra Co. started assembling notebooks in 2003, later adding PCs and servers to its products.
Abbasov also toured the University of Informatics (UCI) in suburban Havana.
