PRESIDENT OPENS MONGOLIA-DANSIH BUSINESS MEETING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of his official visit to the Kingdom of Denmark, the President Ts.Elbegdorj visited October 8 the Confederation of Danish Industry (CDI) and then attended an opening of the Mongolia-Denmark Business Meeting.
After a remark by Mr. Hans Skov Christensen, the CDI's president, the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj has delivered his speech on investment environment in Mongolia and state policy. He has underlined that a willingness of Mongolia--the located between two big states country--to attract investments and implementation of the biggest mining projects are becoming major factors to attract attentions of investors. “…Especially the tax policy of my country is attracting a great attention of European countries,” he added.
At the business meeting, N.Zoljargal, the vice president of the Bank of Mongolia, has delivered a report on general review of Mongolian economics; Z.Battushig, head of the Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency--on environment of investments in Mongolia and business opportunities; and Ch.Ganbat, an advisor to the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development--on an industrial park in Sainshand.
The CDI's president Hans Skov Christensen has spoken about a general situation of economics in Denmark, its competitiveness and advantages. In addition to this, a director of the Danish Authority of Thermal Pipes, Mr. E.B. Christensen has delivered a report about exploitation of new and clean technologies and renewable resources, and history and experiences of cooperation with Mongolia in thermal pipes.
The sides have discussed condition of making investments to Mongolia from Denmark for developing progressive technologies. It is can be seen from this meeting that Denmark has a willingness to make investments to Mongolia and to attract investments from Mongolia for developing mutually beneficial collaboration.
