Socar Azerbaijan to compete in Bulgaria European club championship
Baku, October 10 (AzerTAc). The Socar Azerbaijan chess club will join the European Club Championship to be held October 16 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The club is composed of Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Alexander Grishuk (Russia), Alexey Shirov (Spain), Teymur Rajabov, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Rustam Kasimjanov (Uzbekistan), Rauf Mammadov and Eltaj Safarli.
The club headed by grandmaster Vladimir Tukmakov has the highest rating.
