NSW man bashed and left on road
A man has been seriously assaulted and left on the road on the NSW Central Coast.
Police say the 21-year-old man left a cafe on Reliance Drive at Tuggerah between
12.45am and 2am (AEDT) on Saturday.
Shortly afterwards, he was allegedly approached by two men on Wyong Road who
demanded his wallet before kicking and punching him.
Shortly before 2am, a passing motorist discovered the man lying on the southbound
lanes of Wyong Road.
He was taken to Gosford Hospital suffering from compound pelvis fractures, broken
ribs and collapsed lungs.
The man underwent surgery and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the
area to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
