Ahmadinejad hits target on 9/11 issue: Malaysian professor

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 9, IRNA – A professor at the University of Teknologi of Malaysia (UTM) has said that the Iranian President hit the target when he mentioned his idea about the 9/11 events at the United Nations.

Head of UTM's Polymer Engineering Department Azman Hassan told IRNA that the passive reaction shown by the White House has indicated that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hit the target on the issue when he questioned the reality of the terrorist attacks against the Twin Towers.

During his speech at the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Iranian President said the 9/11 terrorist attacks were organized by some segments of the US government and called for establishment of a fact-finding committee to probe into the event.

'The Islamic Iran has mentioned some facts that the US had decided to forget,' said the Malaysian professor noting that there was currently no doubt that the 9/11 was a fabricated issue.

Hassan stressed that many of the world nations would definitely support President Ahmadinejad's view on formation of a fact-finding committee to investigate the terrorist event./end
