PRESIDENT ATTENDS MONGOLIA-FINLAND BUSINESS MEETING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Being in Finland with the official visit, the President of Mongolia has attended a Mongolia- Finland business meeting held in Helsinki city. Present there were some 30 Mongolian business delegates, who are accompanying the State Head, and 60 Finnish business people.
The President has underlined an importance of this gathering in forwarding the economic ties between the two countries. He said that making investments to Mongolia may bring benefits because Mongolia has attractive tax policy and favorable legal environment for investors.
During this meeting, Finland's "Outotec Îyj" company has signed a contract with the National Development Corporation of Mongolia (NDCM) on cooperating in performing a technical-economic justification for a copper smelting plant which is to be erected in Sainshand, Dornogobi province, and on technological partnership.
Apart of this, the Finnvera plc--a specialised financing company owned by the State of Finland, and the Commerzbank AG have inked a letter on a willingness to make credit guarantee and credit financing.
