Truong gets 2 gold medals at the Thailand Open Track and Field Championships
Hanoi (VNA) -- Truong Thanh Hang pocketed two of Vietnam 's four gold medals at the Thailand Open Track and Field Championships in Bangkok.
Hang crossed the finish line first in the women's 1,500m and 800m events.
The runner's victories put her in good standing to place at the 16th Asian Games
next month in Guangzhou , China .
On the last day of competition on Monday, the "iron man" Vu Van Huyen also pocketed
a gold in the men's decathlon event.
