ALBERT II OF BELGIUM MEETS MONGOLIAN PRESIDENT
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A reception of honor has been given by His Highness Albert II in the Royal Palace of Brussels during which His Highness received state heads of four countries, including the President Ts.Elbegdorj.
The King of Belgium and Mongolia's President have shared views on new possibilities of forwarding the Mongolia-Belgium relations and cooperation. They have discussed issues of the 20th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution and the foreign policy of Mongolia.
The President has held other meetings--with Jose Manuel Barroso, the president of the European Commission; Herman Van Rompuy, the president of the European Council; Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany; Vaclav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic; the Prime ministers of Australia, Luxembourg, Thailand and Vietnam.
At the sub-meeting, held on regional cooperation, the State Head has given an attractive speech on human rights in Myanmar, and expressed a hope that this country will become a state that respects human rights and democratic society.
