Lebanese leader: Ahmadinejad's visit will boost bilateral ties
Beirut, Oct, 6, IRNA – Leader of the Free Patriotic Movement of Lebanon Michel Aoun said Tuesday that the upcoming visit to Lebanon of the Iranian President will take place to boost bilateral ties.
The political leader made the remarks at the end of a meeting of his movement in the Lebanese capital.
He stressed that the visit would be made within the framework of Iran-Lebanon political relations.
Referring to the displeasure of the US and Zionist regime over the visit, Aoun said that was a rude and shameful act.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to visit Lebanon on October 13-14 and upon the official invitation of his Lebanese counterpart Michel Suleiman./end
