President attends consultative meeting of university leaderships
SANA'A, July 31 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended on Thursday the Consultative Meeting of Yemeni Universities' Leaderships held under the motto of " Together Towards Joint Prospect of Students' Work".
President Saleh expressed happiness for holding this meeting, noting importance of this activity that included youth leaders of Yemeni universities for creating joint prospect affirming rule of youth sector and students in development and construction processand on deepening national loyalty among students.
He affirmed country keenness on taking care of youth for they are the real wealth of peoples, stressing on preparing cultural programs that contribute on providing youth with national culture link them with their homelands.
He directed universities' rectors to pay attention to their students' issues and setting up studies and researches that have things to do with youth's problems to be cured from scientific viewpoint.
He then directed officials in the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology to establish eight computer centers in Yemeni Universities and providing them with fast internet services.
