Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of the 50-year anniversary of Darkhan city, its authorities decided to erect a "Darkhan-50 complex" in the center of the city last year. They have opened a donation account, currently gathrering 60.7 million togrogs. The staff of 95 local state organizations have donated their one-day salary--26.9 million togrogs. Now, some three million togrogs have been centralized in Khan bank, and 16.8 million togrogs--from 14 entities.
As architecture exterior design shows, there will be a fountain and eight green fields decorated by domestic and world classical sculptures.

Some 40 orphan children are growing up in the center of welfare "Town of sun" in the aimag, being taught national dances, music, songs and the Japanese language.
The center, established 10 years ago, develops children's talents and have them perform in Japan every year. Incomes from the performances are spent for their needs. Upcoming performances will be given in Okinawa, Tokyo, Saitama, Misaki of Japan in November.

The three day "Darkhan partnership-2010" Regional Expo finished Sunday co-organised by the governor's office of the aimag's and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) in the international commercial center of the New Darkhan.
The expo have been attended by more than 70 businessmen and entities from Darkhan-Uul, Orkhon, Selenge, Omnogobi and central aimags.
A deputy head of MNCCI Ts.Yansanjav, a governor G. Erdenebat and some sponsor organizations have taken part in the opening ceremony of the Expo. Some 500 products of Mongolia have been sold and propagandized.

"Darkhan electric power station" LLC has marked its 45th anniversary. The ceremony was attended by authority of aimag's and city's electric power station, administration of ministry of mineral resources and energy, ministry of road, transportation and tourism.
