MONGOLIA-RELATED FINDINGS MOUNTED IN BELGIUM


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Attending the 8th ASEM Summit, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj has visited an exhibition mounted in the BOZAR Fine Arts Palace in Brussels.
The exhibition, organized under a theme “A passage to Asia”, is aiming to strengthen the cooperation between Asia and Europe and mutual understanding in civilization, to introduce a rich and long-term cooperation between Asia and Europe. The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj is the one of state leaders who has been co-organizing this exhibition as a member of the Council of Honor of supporting the international exhibition.
Grave findings related to the Hunnic Empire, also the Golden Gerege, military clothes of Chingis Khaan era--important in terms of diplomatic relations of Mongols' Great Empire, belongings of shamans of 19th century, the Green Tara created by Zanabzar, “One day in Mongolia” by “Funny” Sharav are being shopwed.
“Not only art critics, but also ordinary visitors understand that it is not enough to fully present the Asian history, culture and civilization without these exhibits from Mongolia,” said Mr. Jean Van Aphven, the head of the Leading Council of Belgium's Scientific Committee.
