Yemen hosts Gulf Health Ministers 66th Conference

SANA'A, July 31 (Saba)- Yemen hosts the 66th Conference of Gulf Health Ministers early next February of 2009 in Sana'a.

Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a made it clear to state-run 26 September net that besides Gulf Health Ministers, GCC Secretary General Abdurrahman al-Attia and other health officials would participate in the conference.

He indicated that the conference which will be held under the motto of "Initial Health Care and Family Medication is a Strategic Aim" would discuss a number of work papers and issues aiming at enhancing health partnership between Yemen and GCC's countries.

He noted that Yemen has benefited much of its joining to GCC Health Ministers Council via exchanging experiences in health domains and supporting many health projects as well as enhancing cooperation between Yemen and GCC countries.
