Abbas: Yemeni Initiative is a ground to any Palestinian dialogue
TUNISIA, July 31 (Saba)- Head of Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas affirmed that the Yemeni Initiative is a ground to any Palestinian-Palestinian dialogue, clarifying that the forthcomingdays would witness kicking off Palestinian dialogue in Cairo.
He said in the press conference held here on Thursday that the initiative made by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, approved by Damascus Summit, still the ground to any dialogue, noting that Yemeni role still active for restoring dialogue and Palestinian national unity.
He expressed appreciation to Yemen and the president, noting that Fatah Movement announced that time its instant acceptance to the initiative and stressed on keeping it.
Abbas also said the Palestinian dialogue and reconciliation would be kicked off soon and that Egypt would host the two secretary generals of Hamas and Fatah movements for unifying Palestinian front.
