24,000 tons of goods exported via Bilesavar customs office

Bilesavar, Ardabil province, Oct 5, IRNA - Some 24,000 tons of various commodities, worth dlrs 16.81 million, were exported via Bilesavar Customs Border Office in the first half of Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2010).

Managing director of Bilesavar Customs Border Office on Iran-Azerbaijan border said 15,000 tons of commodities, worth dlrs 14 million, were imported via the mentioned customs office during the same period.

Ahmad Barbakian Zanjani added that the figure is indicating 44 percent decrease in terms of weight while the total value has increased by 187 percent.

He also announced that 334,518 people have crossed Bilesavar Customs Border Office during the same period, indicating 130 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year./end
