D.DEMBEREL MEETS ALGERIAN AMBASSADOR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel received Monday Mr. Jamel Ed-Deen Grin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Mongolia, in conjunction with his returning home.
Beginning the meeting, the Speaker underlined that our countries have made endeavor to forward the bilateral relations and cooperation, and emphasized an importance of developing the inter-parliamentary ties and collaboration in order to bring them into a newer level. He expressed a gratitude to the Ambassador for his significant contribution to widening the friendly relations, and hoped that the Algerian Ambassador will boost the Mongolia-Algeria relations and cooperation, including the inter-parliamentary ties.
In response, the Ambassador mentioned that he made all effort to develop the bilateral relations and cooperation, and thanked leaders of the Mongolian state and government for receiving his opinions and supporting him.
"Algeria and Mongolia are located far away from each other, but it is not a difficulty in our collaboration," Mr. Grin said, adding that the air transport ties established between Algeria and China in 2009 have made the bilateral relations deepen. He pointed out that our countries have a great opportunity to widen the cooperation in the agriculture, land farming and mining, and promised to pay attention to expanding the inter-parliamentary relations.
Mr. Grin has requested Mongolia's Speaker to support Algeria's position to make West Sahara an independent country.
