PRESIDENT LEAVES FOR BELGIUM
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj left Monday for the Kingdom of Belgium to take part in the 8th ASEM Summit to run 4-5 October in Brussels and to pay official visits to the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Denmark.
Four sub-meetings will run in a scope of the ASEM Summit under themes "Sustainable development", "Economic and financial governance", "Global and regional issue" and "Human development". The President will deliver a speech the sum-meeting themed "Sustainable development".
The 8th ASEM Summit is being attended by state leaders of some 40 Asian and European countries.
Mongolia joined the ASEM in 2006.
