Iran's President urges foreign powers to leave region

Tehran, Oct 3, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged the foreign powers Sunday to leave the region before being expelled by the regional states.
Stressing that the era of bullying powers has come to an end, the President told the big powers: 'If you do not leave the region on your own, the regional nations will kick you out.'
He made the remarks on the sidelines of an inaugural ceremony in Savojbolagh district in the newly-formed Alborz province some 70 km west of the capital Tehran.
Addressing the US and Western leaders, the President said, 'You should apologize to the regional states. Why do you imagine that you are the guardian of the regional nations?'
The President added that the Western leaders did not even have a mercy for their own soldiers and put their lives in danger by sending them to fight in other countries.
'Soldiers of the US Army are a group of oppressed people from Africa and the United States who were deceived by the US officials and came to the army just to earn a living,' President Ahmadinejad said.
He also said that he would follow up the case of the 9/11 events until the truth would become completely clear.
During his speech at the latest Untied Nations General Assembly session in New York, President Ahmadinejad suggested the formation of a fact-finding committee to investigate the 9/11 events./end
