Ahmadinejad sees off Syrian counterpart, Assad
Tehran, Oct 3, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad saw off his Syrian counterpart President Bashar al-Assad at the end of his one day visit to Tehran.
According to the report of Presidential Office website on Saturday, the official ceremony was held in the Presidential Compound.
President Assad, in his one day visit to Tehran, was received by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
He held bilateral talks with President Ahmadinejad, signed cooperation documents and received the highest medal of the Islamic Republic of Iran./end
