Kyrgyzstan wants 20 Bakiyev`s relatives, associates.

BISHKEK, September 30 (Itar-Tass) - The Kyrgyz authorities put on the
international wanted list 20 relatives and close associates of the former
Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev, the republican Prosecutor General's
Office said in a statement on Thursday.
"The Prosecutor General's Office has made several international
investigative requests to search for and detain several relatives and
close associates of the former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev," the statement
runs. The requests were made under the investigation of the criminal
cases, which were instituted over the massacre on the Bishkek central
square on April 7. On the same day servicemen who guarded the House of
Government opened fire at the oppositionists during a massive rally. More
than 100 people were killed or wounded, and a raging mob captured the main
Kyrgyz administrative building.
"The defendants were put on the international wanted list under the
requirements set in the Minsk and Chisinau conventions on the legal
assistance in civil, family and criminal cases," the press service of the
Prosecutor General's Office elaborated.
Bakiyev is on the top of the wanted list. The international wanted
list also includes his both sons, brother of the former president Zhanysh
Bakiyev, who headed the State Guard Service, the former prime minister
Daniyar Usenov and the former chief of the National Security Service Murat
Sutalinov. The former high-ranking officials, who had the access to budget
resources, were also put on the international wanted list.
"The republican Interior Ministry instituted criminal cases versus all
foresaid wanted people," the press service. Most wanted relatives and
associates of Bakiyev are staying in Russia and Kazakhstan, the press
service said. The republican Foreign Ministry was instructed to invalidate
diplomatic and service passports of these people.
Bakiyev with his family is staying in Minsk. The Belarusian
authorities turned down two extradition requests for Bakiyev to Kyrgyzstan.
