AZERI CHESS TEAM LEARN RIVALS FOR 9th ROUND OF WORLD OLYMPIAD

Baku, September 30 (AzerTAc). The draw has been held for the 9th round of the World Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Azerbaijan men`s team will face Ukraine, while Azeri women players will clash with Lithuania. After 8 rounds, Ukraine top the table with 14 pts and are followed by Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Armenia and France which have 13 pts each. Azerbaijan rank 25th with 10 pts.
