MONGOLIAN KIDS AND INT'L FILM FESTIVAL

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Asian International Children's Film Festival will run in Ibusuku City, Kagoshima Prefecture of Japan in frames "A Family" theme in December 2010. A main feature of the event is that all the participants will be school age children who likes shooting and making movies.
Apart of Mongolia that will be represented by nine children, countries will take part as China, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Japan.
To fulfill criteria, the creations must be shot by amateur camera, last not more than three minutes, must have the shortest commentaries, and must not breach copyright.
Here, 25 films had been registered initially, then eight were chosen September 27 by a panel of judges, including staffer of Embassy of Japan, school of Radio and TV, film producer D.Khishigt.
The expense of participants will be covered by the Japanese side.
