Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's Prime Minister S.Batbold has agreed with Canadian side to create three Memoranda of Understanding in order to strengthen trade and development cooperation between the two countries.
Thus the Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) have been inked--on information and experience exchange in civil service reform between the Public Service Commission of Canada (PSC) and the Civil Service Council of Mongolia (CSC); on cooperation between the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and Mongolia's Agency for Standardization and Metrology (MASM), and on developing a cooperation and supporting infotechnology and commercial exchange between Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and Mongolia's Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
As it is considered, by signing these MOU the two sides express a mutual desire to expand the cooperation based on common interests of the two countries and democracy values.
The same day S.Batbold met with Mr. Noel Kinsella, a Speaker of the Senate of Canada, and with Mr. Peter Milliken, a Speaker of the House of Commons, to share with them views on continuing developing the cooperation and collaboration between the two countries.
