PREMIER IN CANADA WITH OFFICIAL VISIT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The official visit of Mongolia's Prime Minister to Canada started Tuesday. The sides have considered that the very official visit of the Mongolian Premier to Canada has a great importance in forwarding the bilateral relations and in keeping a frequency of the bilateral high level talks.
The Premier and his spouse have begun the visit's official events after having paid a tribute to the monument of peacekeepers in center of Ottawa city.

The Premier S.Batbold has held an individual meeting with Mr. Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada.
The dignitaries have highly spoken a present situation of the Mongolia-Canada relations, and expressed a mutual aspiration to widen the political and economic collaboration.
Mr. Batbold have expressed a willingness to introduce developmental model, standards and technologies of Canada to Mongolia. "Our countries are similar in climate, natural resources, population density and geopolitical location," he said emphasizing that Mongoia considers Canada as a model of development.
In response, Mr. Harper has noted that the official visit of Mongolia's coalition government's leader has opened a new chapter in the bilateral relations, and expressed a willingness to deepen the collaboration in trade and investment sectors.
The Prime Ministers have advanced these positions at expanded negotiations.
The Prime Ministers have agreed to accelerate establishment of the agreement on mutual support and protection of investments. The Mongolian side has affirmed its aspiration to join the Convention on the prohibition of anti-personnel mines.
They have highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation in Mongolian-Canadian military training for ensuring the stability in Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
