Transmitting virus to Iran systems, in vain- AEOI chief

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi said here on Wednesday that the enemies' efforts to spread the computer virus out to the Iranian nuclear systems including the Bushehr nuclear power plant were in vain.

Talking to reporters, Salehi said this is a year the security measures and strong immunity have been taken and developed to the computers, and fortunately the enemies' recent attempts to damage the country's nuclear systems have been failed.

This computer virus has not reached our main system, Salehi noted, adding just some computers of the staff have been infected with it.

On the Bushehr nuclear power plant procedure in south of Iran, Salehi said the transfer of fuel to this power plant will take place next week.

He further hoped the fuel for the Tehran research reactor would be provided next September (2011).
