AZERI DEFENSE MINISTER MEETS ICRC REPRESENTATIVE
Baku, September 28 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Minister of Defense, colonel-general Safar Abiyev has met today International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) head of operations for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Pascale Meige Wagner.
According to the press service of the Ministry, Abiyev stressed importance for expansion of relations with ICRC.
He underlined “today there is a need for strengthening activity of the ICRC”.
During the meeting, the sides have also discussed the return of hostages, as well as getting back Azeri soldier`s body.
